Mr. Burckhard takes a holistic approach to treating mental illness by focusing on the client’s mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well being. He uses the psychotherapeutic treatment of cognitive behavioral therapy meant to influence change in unhealthy thoughts and beliefs that trigger negative emotions and undermine the relationship with oneself and others.
